it depends on where the 10k is coming from
if you have 10k SE traffic, you can get your tgp to 100k within a week
if you have exit traffic, it would take longer. (but some trading gurus can their site over 100k with a few k of feeding only. it also depends on your skillz)
if you aren't going to use gallery skim, and want to make the site set up to attract SE listings, go perm links
if you want to jerk them hard, go for a full featured script
10k/day, I would be tempted to just go real clean, little or no blind links and try to snag bookmarkers
I have a buddy who keeps his new sites clean until they have at least 20k/day going from bookmarkers, then he adds trades. You're halfway there already.
Steve, where do you suggest getting that initial 1-2k feed? Advertising? Paid SE Listings.. i'm not sure about the best option to give my site an initial burst of traffic...

If you have a site, you can feed another. Feeding the first one is the tough part. You can try to generate traffic bt submitting to high traffic tgps, with clean links leading back to your main page.
You might be able to get traffic in exchange for doing reviews for a large TGP. Or you can buy the traffic from a TGP. Here is Choker's traffic page. Free host 404 traffic is another option, but they usualy want too much money, since they send a LOT of hits at you.
You can use the GFY search feature on traffic for sale. I am sure there will be a few recent threads concerning this topic
I'm from Jersey. I used to work for an Elevator company out of Long Island City. Queens was great. I miss having all those different neighborhoods. Greek, Italian, Spanish, you could always find someplace cool. Lunch was never boring. And you could always find a coffee/bagel shop.
I haven't seen a bagel shop since I moved out west. I don't know what they have against bagels out here. You're lucky if you can get Lechter's NY style (everything bagels), usually it's just a shelf of plain shit.
