Once when I was shopping with my then girlfriend, we had a very heavy new window for our kitchen. A
large black man in the line who I initially thought was there to rob the place, offered to assist me bringing the window out to my vehicle. I told him "no way negro get to the back of the bus".
Just kidding, I graciously accepted his offer, and paid $4.27 for the small handful of screws he had purchased, which during our pleasant conversation in the parking lot, I came to learn that he was using to repair a portion of his sun deck. We parted ways amicably, and I sincerely hope that he was able to adequetly repair the broken portion of his sun deck.
