Flight controls on a modern jetliner are completely computer controlled.
They have GPS,which will put the plane precisely on the center of a runway in dense fog. The flight controls have autopilot which allows the pilot to select glideslope,altitude and speed. To make adjustments while inflight,all the pilot does is turn a knob to reset the parameters. Yeah how stupid of me to come up with that. I mean indeed what kind of argument is that a they use a professional simulator that is used for starting and professional pilots to train. What was a thinking....me and the 1000's and 1000's of top pilots using those things to train every day.
Yeah really a lousy argument that if they can do it with a multi million dollar simulator that is an identical copy of a plane and behaves like a plane that they can do it with a real plane as well.
