    My new site... a few questions from a newbie

    Hello,

    Ok, I've already purchased a domain (pink-videos.com). My niche is going to be obviously at this point, adult videos. I'm doing a completely free site, I suppose based on entirely ad revenue. I already have a database of over 1,000 videos to start me off, so I'm good on content right now.

    On to the questions:

    What's the best recommended ad revenue for adult sites? I'm aiming towards AdultFriendFinder, however, that's just because they're all I really know works.

    What are some good promotion methods for this site? This is mprobabley my most important question. I'm not quite sure how to promote it - I've had some friends tell me Link Dumps (Ex: WTFPeople) is a good way. My ultimate goal for this site is to achieve $2k/month revenue, so does anyone know how much traffic I'd be looking at to get close to this goal?

      hmm, some good questions here... AFF is a pretty good program to start however, some people don't like them because they use Zango. I have some other programs to suggest if you're promotings adult dating sites...

      As for methods to promote... you definately have to get a good seach engine ranking... sumbit your site to as many search engines as you can. Submitting to link dumps is also not such a bad idea when starting out. You said you have videos to promote, if you want , you can post them on adult porn forums and possibly get some traffic that way.

      As for earning 2K a month that could be difficult. With some hard work and alot of time spent promoting the site you may be able to get to that point in a few months, but it won't be easy. Unfortuately the business just isn't as good as it used to be. Depending on what kind of traffic you bring to your site you will probably need about 10,000 - 20,000 unique visitors a day to make 2K a month.

      Dating Gold Also pays on both email and full membership sign ups..

              To get $2k/month you need a lot of traffic.

              How get the traffic?
              1) Buy
              2) Make (get from SE, Link Dumps)
              3) Trade with other Webmasters.
