    Nathan (formerly with TMM/NATS) releases new Amateur Flash Portal!

    I'm proud to finally release my new project to everyone on GFY!

    My biz partner in europe and I have been testing the system for the past few months and the initial results are great! Together with Duke from DukeDollars we have now deceided that the correct next step is to release it in the US for an open beta!

    Duke has always been a great friend of mine since the early days of NATS, and really understands how the business works, so I asked him if he would like to step on board as a partner in this venture. We are all excited to see months of hard work finally come to fruition. We are sure ForAmateursOnly will make everyone who promotes it satisfied beyond their expectations.

    The site's idea is easy but effective. REAL AMATEURS (girls, guys and couples) register with us and upload their own content to our site. Surfers buy that content set by set and our amateurs get a percentage of what they spend. This results in more extreme and higher quality content compared to other amateur sites.

    The site is totally Web 2.0, with RSS feeds for every single page, tags and streaming FLASH video! We are currently finishing our special video player which will allow surfers to download the videos.

                                  interesting, however I think your pricing is a bit high... more or less from what I saw its going to cost $30 for 10 videos?
                                  thats going to be a tough sell I believe..I'm sure there are various credit prices per video.. but why would a surfer spend that kind of money when they can get a paysite membership with access to way more video content for the same price?

                                  Also you might want to clean up the english on the site..it screams non U.S. and thats not going to make a U.S. surfer feel too comfy. Additionally the IFRAMES with the descriptions below the thumbs showing random scroll bars looks tacky..need to make some adjustments there as well.

                                              Nathan, looks good... but when I went to signup as a user, I was a little concerned that there was no terms and conditions on the signup page. No way to know exactly why you want the email address or what you intend to do with it.

                                                                                      It does look expensive, I agree, but you will be surprised what people are willing to spend. Don't forget, its WAY cheaper than the average US livecam sites, but the reason why both work is the same, direct contact to the models and a privat-feel. People are willing to pay a lot for that once they get hooked. Give it a try, you'll be surprised.

                                                                                      The english is definately not great yet, its my english... ;) We'll be working on that though, thx.

                                                                                      Regarding the design of the boxes (its not iframes), to each their own, if you have enough traffic, get yourself a skin and we'll change the look to whatever you want.

                                                                                      Soon you'll be able ot make a skin in a builder app yourself which will offer multiple ways to design the content boxes.

                                                                                          The "weird" free join system is actually coming from weeks of testing, and this way is the best in free join conversion.

                                                                                          The email only join form is JUST for email verification. People that VERIFY their email actually join too (at least 98% do), we will NEVER actually use those email addresses unless they are used to join the site since this way our accounts have 100% clean emails.

                                                                                          Neither does the email only join form clutter our free join statistics and database with bad free joins. (So the REGs you see in your stats, are actually people that fully signed up!)


                                                                                          As per your second concern, of course once people enter their email address the affiliate code is stored in the db along with it and used later if it can nolonger be found in their session. Members are yours forever once they join.

                                                                                              2257 compliance was a concern of ours from the beginning. First of all of course, WE do not have to be 2257 compliant, the site is not owned by a US company. Of course that does not help you much.

                                                                                              We are of course secondary producers and as such under the new regulations need to have 2257 information for sexually explicit content. That is why we do collect identification documents and get contracts signed by all our amateurs. Occasionally we will have one who does not have IDs for all the actors in their videos, doesn't happen often though.

                                                                                              In any case, because of the 2257 stuff, for those that need it, we provide promo material that does not require 2257 information due to its content. Because our content is _TRUELY_ amateur, we can impossibly give out ID documents and similar to webmasters. On top of that it would conflict EU privacy laws which we will not break.

                                                                                              So we have thought about this quite a bit, and the 2257 compliancy statement is just there in general so we at least state that we have heard of the thing.

                                                                                              So, you do not have to worry about the site itself, since 2257 does not concern us directly, and webmasters do not need to worry because if you have to abide by 2257 regulations you can simply use our non explicit content. Once you link to us its our problem and not yours.

                                                                                                  by the english on the site, you mean the english in the descriptions? If so, they are done by our amateurs, if the amateur is german, french or dutch for example, you will have bad english in there, makes the site what it is though, REAL.

                                                                                                  The english text on the site itself, outside of content titles and descriptions, is being worked on though.

                                                                                                                                                      We _ALWAYS_ have 2257 docs for the main actor, but since some have additional actors where they do not provide US with 2257 information we flag them and make sure they do not get hosted on US servers, they are hosted in the EU.

I seriously suggest you get a German lawyer to look into this and not go by the gut feeling.

Theres a reason why some companies seek german processors and theres also a reason why the EU wants that changed.

                                                                                                                                                              As for the PM post: hardcore is an issue in germany, it has to meet a lot of standards, warning pages, disclaimers, blanked out pics - if you took this time to set up the site, then Im wondering why you dunno this.

We do not have a crappy 2257 disclaimer. We have a disclaimer which states the truth. You probably know as well as I do that CCBill EU _WILL_ touch a site which is owned by an EU entity but does not even HAVE a 2257 disclaimer! Removing the disclaimer if needed is an easy thing for us, because, as I said before, _WE_ do not require it! We have 2257 information currently for our US affiliates so they know that we _DO HAVE_ 2257 documentation for our amateurs!

We have 4 servers currently. 2 In the US, 2 in the EU.

We have 2257 information for the stuff we need it, on top of that our amateurs, which are the producers, have 2257 information (obviously, since its themself), so there really is no problem here...
