We are stuck here as well. We are at a some low rent hotel in downtown San Jose. The hotel told us that it was not safe to go out once the sun starts to drop. WTF American Air. Thanks for the hookup.

American Airlines flights were almost all cancelled, not going out until Wednesday.. I got lucky and was on a taca flight and got back late last night.. Only a 2 hour delay... But it worked out great for me, as I went to the fiesta casino and made $500... Costa Rica was a lot of fun...13 solid years strong.

Caz, Oystein, DJ Air3k, Mark Womak and Shey, and Dodger and I were on American Air, relieved that we were on our plane, and avoided the labor protest that was starting up in the streets. After 1/2 hour of sitting on a pee scented plane, we taxied about 10 minutes out then they stopped the plane, announced that they needed to lighten the load in order to accommodate more "fuel," and we watched as they proceeded to take our luggage off the plane and load on other bags. The last we saw of our bags they were still sitting on the runway.
The airlines still has no clue where our bags are since they could not get a hold of the San Jose American Air office.
The Bash was a blast at least!

Its good to have a travel agent for a wife. I had a 1 day delay. Jersey girl is stil there also I think. If you see her tell her I made it out ok. We were travel buddies and got split up Sitting for another 30 mins here in miami then back home. Made for a fun adventure though. Cr bash was a blast! I should be back down in less than 2 months.

we got out just fine. the protesting is in downtown. the airport is running 100%
there are still a group over at the Martinos hotel where some of us stayed last night.
sunday was the only day they did anything with flights.
they did however manage to fuck up the takeoff for an hour or so. they loaded the plane, then realized that the weight for the takeoff was 18,000 lbs too much and took off most of all of our bags. so we are in l.a. waiting for those. i'll go get mine this weekend at lax.Comment
