There are millions of people who understand Obama was the best of the choices listed.
That remains true today and was true on election day.
Palin is an idiot, McCain does not know what email is... Edwards can't keep it in his pants long enough to care for his wife who has cancer, Hillary would never have won a general election in the last cycle.... American elections are multiple choice... you don't get to write in who you think would be best at the job.
So far he has done less good than I would have liked... but he has also done infinitely less bad than the previous regime. Hopefully that is the start of a trend, where each administration is better than the prior one... though coming after Bush makes it pretty much impossible to do worse.
