Little Miss Sunshine = Hilarious

I never thought to watch this movie because frankly the title is kind of lame and I thought it was some artistic feel good movie or something. Anyway, the other night I watched it and haven't laughed so hard in a long time. What a funny movie.

Each of the characters is so nutty and so on cue, you can just picture yourself knowing somebody like that. If you haven't seen it yet, give it a try. I think the second time I watch it will be even funnier.

I have to agree. I expected very little going in and ending up really enjoying it. It was one of the top movies of the year IMO. The story was fresh and the ending killed when it all came together.

I enjoyed it. No shock tactics or special effects to hide a badly written script. Was just a good little movie, and one of the few where I didn't feel as if I were wasting my time watching it.

How did it turn your stomach? I was laughing my ass off.

I expected a lot of things to happen like they do in typical movies, but instead with this movie they turned out more realistic. Was hilarious.

The grandpa, hahaha. The suicidal brother was the only normal one in the whole family.

That movie rocked! I was rolling the whole time. Some people just do not get it. May fav part was the cop, "I love this stuff, god bless you sir." Then he sees that gay rag in there...LOL!!!!!!!

I didn't think the pageant or the grandpa was cute at all. My take was the writer was trying to show how absurd it is having little girls dress up like whores while their mothers think its cute and ex-cons get hard-ons.

I thought the movie touched on a few totally ridiculous parts of everyday life.

The dad, a total loser, is trying to sell a course on being a winner.

This not-so-pretty, and chubby, girl becoming a finalist in a pageant of little Barbie's. The dad then trying to convince her she won't be a winner if she's fat.

A drug addicted, foul mouthed grandpa doting over his granddaughter and teaching her crude dances to win a contest.

My opinion. Happy Texas was was better. It is from 1999 and I can't explain a thing without ruining the plot but the girls in it didn't have that "Jon Benet Ramsey" look going on. That is one funny ass movie, in my opinion. I am a huge fan of William H. Macy and he is funny as shit in this flick.

Well, he's the dad. Really I would say everybody has an equal part, kind of unique in that regard. But I think his character is hilariously pathetic. I'd say more but don't want to spoil it.

Nothing mean-spirited about the movie. They COULD have made a billion jokes on the pageants considering the JonBenet Ramsey case, but they didn't really go there with it.
