    I recall seeing this statement many, many times on here and now it's basically true...or at least will be totally true within what 2-5 years? How ironic.

                              The way I see it, surfers are PISSED OFF, especially dating surfers...fake profiles, shady practices, blackhat traffic causing saturation and the abundance of these credit card trial loophole shit like these "fuckbook" sites.

                                          The free sites like pof/okcupid suck ass because most of the guys on there are deadset against paid now. I've tried to hit them hard with the shit but they don't want to know. I think it may be because of these "fuckbook" sites, they are literally making people scared of online dating and they are telling all their friends about it. The scammy sites won't like like you said, but they are doing A LOT of damage.

They have you sign up and "verify" yourself (usually disguised as an age verification thing) with your credit card. - Unbeknown to the user, the gateway exploits a loophole...you are actually signing up for several porn sites that charge you if you do not cancel within a few days. Most people will not read the TOS that clearly states that you must cancel your sleeping subscription to said porn sites. These are scams that blackhatters have been promoting for a good year now. All these fuckbook sites are scams, either exploiting a loophole or running databases that consist of purely fake profiles with the aim to convert the surfer to the bogus dating site. Quite smart really but the hammer will fall on them soon.

                                                                                      The great thing about people who now really believe "there is no money in porn" is that they are leaving or not entering the business at all. This reduces competition for people like me - a fulltime, seasoned adult webmaster who's been in business over a decade and understands first hand how many people will still pay for porn when its presented the proper way.

                                                                                      For me, "there is no money in porn" is more ironic than ever because now alot of people really believe it.

                                                                                      Having said that, you're right, there is no money in porn.

At the time ICS was located in Livermore about a mile from where I was living, and I was an affiliate of theirs. I had never met anyone in the industry. I emailed him back and told him that there was "no money in porn". Years later of course, Tanker and I worked together and become good friends, and made lots of money together.

                                                                                                                      Anyone who is saying there is no money in porn today is wrong. Oh, it's not like it used to be when you could just slap a site up, announce it on GFY, and make 100 sales the first day. It takes a lot more effort these days. My blog network is growing, added two new blogs this weekend, and more money is coming in every month. It's great really.
