Yes im back. In 2004 i had a successfull bussiness and i never throwed away bussiness cards because i still have them. i worked with alot of companies before and they can check it. i was sending 90000 visitors a day to various sponsors daily. so thats not nothing.
End of 2004 i had alot of issues related and losed my whole bussiness because of so called friends. i learned alot and had alot of stress in 2005. 2006 i started programing again and it was not a big success. was working 17 hours a day to make a normal living.
now im working for iwantu like posted by anothers in another thread. started here 4 months ago. its not like before that i could do what i want but im back yep.
This photos are taking in Pirate Bay, San Jose. Was a nice party. There will be alot nicer photos if they post them. We have a very good time here at Costa Rica Bash.Comment

Before i got my job for iwantu i worked fulltime 16 hours myself. I made 3 mistakes and took too much work that i could not handle. Listen i made mistakes. i paid everyone back who i did see online. i had 3 clients and paid 2 back.

Was working 17 hours a day to make a normal living because everyone everywhere oly want cheap programmers. Thats not explaining this because it was a big mistake too take 3 projects more but i was thinking i could do them in the meantime too.
Try to life in amsterdam without anything. Try to get a job without papers. Its not easy in the netherlands.Comment

relax dude, I wasn't accusing you I was just wondering if you were the guy
I've heard about. I don't judge people by other people their experiences. Unless
10 or more people experienced exactly the same and even then I leave the
option open for the "accused" version of the story.
I was just asking, everybody makes mistakes and not all deals work out great
for all parties as long as people make up or come to somekind of solution that's
all I care about when doing business with someone I don't know myself. As
someone who also codes and has coded a lot in the past I know it happens that
people end up not being happy because they wanted something different then
they asked for.
As long nobody all of sudden vanishes from the planet it's all good with me

with this I have to dissagree being Dutch and living in the Netherlands
coincedently in Amsterdam aswell If you want and really try
you'll find a job any day of the week especially if you're a half decent coder.
Even if you don't speak the language that won't be a problem. It takes at most
perhaps a few days to figure out where to look. Especially now with
unemployment at an all time low in any sector people are lining up for motivated
staff.

ServerGenius. Got many job offers fo 1200 euro fulltime. Minium sallary.
Im not a starter but official i dont have any papers from school. Thats the key in the netherlands. Serious tried to find something for 1600-1800 euro because amsterdam is not the cheapest place to life.
Now im having a good further and happy. Did hear about you too here at costa rica bash.

Unfortenately I'm not at the costa rica bash and no we have never met as
far as I know. Yes I'll be at webmaster access aswell a few more shows (not
too many though).
Regarding jobs in Amsterdam, for coding work such as decent php, perl, C
any of those not even all together you can get loads of job in the 3K - 4.5K
range. If you're really good and also have unix sysadmin knowledge add another 1K or 2K. That's for payroll jobs. If you're good and do the same
freelance or consultancy basis once you have a few references you can
make a lot more than that but that of course depends on your skills.
1.5 - 2K jobs you can get if know what a computer looks like or if you're
able to spell the word computer. Anyway I'm sure we'll bump into eachother
somewhere and have a beer (or 2). Have fun in Costa Rica and goodluck

You and me now how the netherlands is. I tried and only would start at 1.2k tax paid.
I have server administration/php knowlegde for 8 years now. I know what im doing and not a starter.
But no papers. Start sallery of 1.2k.
Thats why i leaved the netherlands too. Made a good choice after all. Ok miss my friends but thats life. Will see them in 2-3 months when im coming for some days to the netherlands.
About that beer. We will.
