Dude they are offshore, you can't do shit ;/Has anyone ever taken ePassporte to court over their lack of responsibility for securing funds? Maybe that's what will need to happen before they get their shit together. ePassporte is quickly running their name and their reputation into the ground with their approach to customer service and security..Comment

Well maybe their operation is based out of the country but if they have an office and employees here then they probably have a business license here and also probably do some banking here. I would not assume that they are "unreachable".Comment

I may be wrong but didn't Shaliza threaten to take legal action against someone who posted some shit about ePassporte on this board a while back? I believe the guy might have gotten banned for his post. If you think ePassporte can sue someone but nobody can sue them because they are out of the country...your wrong.Comment

I dont usually leave any money in my epassporte account over about $20. Which is also the reason I found the fraudulent transfer so quickly. I knew some payments were due on a particluar day, checked the account online, went to the ATM and the money had gone. It would seem that whoever did this was waiting for the right moment to pounce. It would be handy if Epassporte had the option to disable p2p transfers as I never use them, only ever us the ATM...Comment

Epassporte payments will be delayed until Epassporte fixed their system. This is what appears at Epassporte: Some ePassporte functionality is currently undergoing maintenance. Your balance will appear as $0.00 and many functions will not be available until maintenance is complete. We apologize for the inconvenience and we are working to resolve this matter immediately.

hmmm i think the security is not a problem (just for now) till you proved that your PC has not been hacked or something.. maybe some oldschool keyloggers got into your PC.. we never know...
the bad side for epassporte here is that, their support arent really that reliable.. so before most their clients decided to pull out, they better act now....

why they just don't make at least one security layer to protect other people's funds?
Which security feature make epassporte different than any standards fucking free webmail service? Don't you think money should have an extra layer of protection?
If you have said in terms of service that you are not responsible for p2p transactions, what does it mean that you don't care what happen to your customer's money? God damn, learn from shit happens around, if egold is irreversible they protect their accounts with good security .. and if paypal have no extra security than standard webmail and you, they do provide chargeback .. WHAT DOES YOU PROVIDE DAMMIT?Comment

I understood what you said. My suggestion is that, sure, someone else may come along, but why would you trust them if they have no history?Comment

I have transfered tens thousands of funds via epassporte during years. There has been some problems, but they have solved all of them At some point when amounts was getting higher and higher - my account was suspended until verification. They just wanted ID... after that some small things with CC cards, but generally to the date - it works at least for me. Anyway, login security could be much better handled. Maybe they should speak with the man who build ´their backend...
