hmm, good point. My engine came turbo'd from the factory and can handle about 450whp fairly reliably before pistons start shooting out of places that they shouldn't be coming from. I think if I had an engine that started out naturally aspirated, I'd go with the nitrous route. Although with that, you don't get the neat turbo sounds

I drove around for a week once with no bypass valve, i blocked the flange off on the intake piping, and the recirculation tube between the maf and turbo. all I could hear was "gobble gobble gobble gobble", lol. sounded like this
