    My Mom wins at Facebook today

    People wonder where I get it from. I hope I am like her when I am in my 60's.

          Not to take away from your mom's winning achievement on Facebook.

          But I have a 17 year old daughter and her friend thought it was cute to send her boyfriend at the time some nude text messages. She was 16 and within one day, her pictures had circulated the entire school. She killed herself 5 days before she was to turn 17.

          Straight A student and a great girl who made one bad decision and it cost her her life. I remember looking at her parents during the funeral imagining what was going through their minds.

          Sorry to be Debbie Downer, it's just still fresh in my memory.

                                  That is horrible.

                                  It's sort of like drinking -- having fun can sometimes cost you your life.

                                  High school can be really tricky like that. I sure as hell don't miss it.
