Affiliates, without cross sales, your joins arent worth shit, and we;ve been losing money for months to keep you happy since we are actually good guys. However, since not everyone has burnt through their cross sale mids quite yet, we cannot compete for over priced joins at this time. We'll be back when affiliate game is once again profitable, and our affilaites stop giving away pirated content for free.

Fuck that sucks. Just got the email- I was actually doing pretty well with them to this day with the email program.
I've got a bunch of traffic pointed to WEG right now that will do free email signups.. who wants to work with me?
The stuff that works best is free "tube" sites like WEG had.. preferrable w/o having to enter CC information like theirs was setup.
But I'm looking for whatever now and will be testing alot of stuff.. so please post potential replacement sponsors that do pay-per-email type stuff

That is because affiliates didnt advertise nor would it be assumed they would continually send traffic , whereas it would be assumed that if wegcash advertised revshare and had its affiliates promote it , they would be paid a percentage for as long as the member stayed, not until they decided to close their affiliates accounts on 3 day notice after heavily investing in tube related products.

i think this thread still needs clarification.
What we know so far, all signups will cease on friday, affiliates accounts are all closed.
Whats still fuzzy.. will affiliates still get paid on revshare ? will wegcash paysites continue to run ? will revshare members still rebill ?hatisblack at yahoo.comComment

Truth be known, the industry created the content glut and more companies will follow soon enough. The notification from WEGCash is much appreciated though, better than some folks who disappeared without a peep... Time to update the database... Good luck

I don't know, never promoted them, but if they did and they are still keeping the sites open and processing rebills they need to continue paying out. If they don't then I think we should collect the names of the owners and make sure they are recorded as cheats for the next time they open a program. It isn't acceptable to keep your affiliates' rebills on revshare especially with just a few days notice.
Hopefully they weren't a revshare program.

I'm definitely going to try your email/mags program out- but it looks as if the mags program doesnt even have the alternate covers available anymore- just static tours for each "mag"
what did well for me with WEG - got people to register, was the "tube" look of their sites, like rawtube4free.com etc.
This may be a good opportunity for you guys to step up the email prog a bit, as I'm sure there will be plenty of guys like me looking for the best possible replacement
What I'd like to see are some more "current" pages to send traffic to- tube type layouts, etc
doesnt need to be a piratey thing, just people like that design/format of content deliveryComment

Can anyone from WEG clarify if webmaster accounts will stop taking transactions as of Friday or if new traffic will be declined. I ask because a lot of these email and 4free programs can take days if not weeks to confirm. Will those confirms be lost?. Makes quite a difference if links should be pulled asap.

This is pretty big, WEG has been around forever, though admittedly its been years since I worked with them.
It seems to me if it stops being profitable you need to change your payouts. It's always easier to raise payouts than drop them, but at least with lowered payouts you're not killing your business off.

yes I definitely noticed that.
All of a sudden, out of nowhere, ratios went to crap. I figured they were tightening the purse strings a bit, but I was still making money.. so what can you do.
Sucks they had to shut the whole thing down- i would have probably still used them if they went to $1.50 an email or something
that being said, anyone who has some good looking tours for pay per email progs should be hopping on this one!
I'm gonna try CECash, but I preferred the look of WEG's tube sites-
i do like the part about getting paid on upsells w CECash, but im not sure if ill be able to get as many people to register with those tours..
