Let me know the dates, I'll bring the crew and fill up the theater.
Congrats to both of you.
If we get the target dates, it will be between the 12th and 14th of March.
Once we know for sure I'll post a thread and icq my peeps.
On another note....
For the record, it's really a congrats for KB, not me. I play a small role because I helped produce the TV reality show that was being covered in this movie, not this movie itself. You only see me for like a second, but I'm talked about in this film a few times. Woot Woot!
KB is the star of this film, he's one of the 3 main charactors. And he's the one that will make money on this thing.
For me, I'm just a lowly accidental marketing arm for pornographers that helped produce a failed TV reality show.

You guys are brothers and back each other up, that makes you guys who you are. It's a team effort. Good job.
As you may know, the Tribeca film festival is in full swing over in New York at the moment, and today we received a review from one of our readers, Jonathan, who managed to catch AMERICAN CANNIBAL, which the IMDB says documents the train-wreck production and sudden shutdown of American Cannibal, the reality TV show produced by the promoter behind the Paris Hilton sex tape. There is an official website for this movie here. This is a positve review of the movie and contains minor spoilers. Thanks to Jonathan.
American Cannibal premiered yesterday at the 5th annual Tribeca Film Festival. Tribeca has easily become one of the top festivals in North America. The highlight of the festival yesterday was the documentary "American Cannibal: The Road to Reality". Over the last 6 weeks there has been a public fight between the American Cannibal filmmakers Michael Nigro and Perry Grebin and Porn Promoter Kevin Blatt who is featured in the documentary. After reading about the film from a link off of DrudgeReport.com I had to buy a ticket to see what the fuss was about.
Kevin Blatt is featured in the documentary along with two writers Gil Ripley and Dave Roberts. The film follows Gil and Dave while they go on a quest to get their TV Show ideas turned into a reality. The TV show they pitch Blatt is called Virgin Territories, "When you win it, You Lose It", they explain its like Big Brother but more sexy. Blatt decides he wants to go main stream and decides to have the guys do a TV show called "American Cannibal". They put in one-hundred-thousand dollars into the production of a television pilot they hope to sell to a network. This is Blatt's first attempt to go main stream and it fails miserably.
The documentary process follows every process of making a Reality TV show from the pitching to the casting all the way to the production. Game Show host George Gray is the host for American Cannibal, but he ends up having a problem from SAG and has to leave the show 3 days into production. Once they decide to speed up production one of the big breasted blonde contestant falls over and gets a laceration across her chest. It turns out she fell into coma but is supposedly fine now.
On the controversial side, Kevin Blatt talks about Paris Hilton and the porn tape in depth in a couple of scenes. He also said that the DVD "One Night in Paris" had the wholesale price of 22 dollars which is unheard of for any type of film.
I sat in the far back row and about 30 seconds before the film began Kevin Blatt came into the screening and sat down with a hat and a porn star on his arm. I could not tell if he was happy with how he is portrayed but he got up and left before the end of the credits. For the Q&A, Dave Roberts said that he thought he was fairly portrayed, but his writing partner Gil Ripley also left before the Q&A.
The filmmakers said that making this film was a two year process and it turned out much differently than it began.
Overall I thought this was an excellent documentary and I know the filmmakers will go far with this film. While watching the film all I could think was that this was like Lost In La Mancha. Instead of a feature film falling apart this was like watching the behind the scenes of TV show tear apart at its seams. Hopefully one day, the footage that was shot of the TV show "American Cannibal" will be released so we can see how bad it really was.
As many of you might already know, KB (aka KBizzle aka D$'s brother), co-produced a reality show/documentary and stars in it as well.
First of all, this movie is awesome and you will all see it on cable in the near future or in the theaters on March 16th. Normally I don't like documentaries, but this one grabs you.
Without giving away this movie (you should all see it soon), it's about reality TV taking over. So a couple of sitcom writers can't get work anymore, no one wants sitcoms. These guys stoop down a level and try reality. In their quest, they sit with many well know TV producers to pitch a bunch of new ideas. The movie gets good when they visit KB, they pitch him hoping KB & his brother D-Money will invest in this TV Show. Yes, I've been silent about this movie, but you'll see it soon and know that I'm a co-producer of this "American Cannibal", the TV show. Secrets out now.
Wait until you see what people are willing to do for their 15 minutes of fame in reality, KB is the perfect porn industry guy running the show. Lot's of big TV people and celebs in this film too. I'm very impressed.
Many of you were at a Players VIP Party in L.A. last year at 310 in Santa Monica, you'll see a few industry people with their cameos in this movie. Baddog posted a pic a while back of a chick who gets naked and a tampon string pops out between her legs. Well, that made the movie... Even a couple of Players Ball clips with Snoop Dogg, Flavor Flav and D$ holding the big pimp glass.
So now you're all thinking, well that's great and all, but why post about it if we can't see it?
I'm looking to raise a few sponsors for a Players VIP Movie Night in L.A.. We want to either rent out a theater for a night and play this movie for only adult industry people followed by drinks socializing. The movie is 90 minutes, moves pretty fast and totally rocks. I think it's already been picked up by Showtime, so it will be seen sooner or later, but come see it on the big screen first. I really think KB is about to do lot's more in the mainstream on camera. He sat with Dr. Phil yesterday, the whole episode is about this movie and TV show about to come out called, "Virgin Territory". You'll probably see this show air at the end of March, Dr. Phil told KB after the show that he viewed this movie the night before and absolutely loved it and thought KB was great. Dr. Phil loved it! So it must be good right?
Anyone want to come see it in L.A. with us?
If interested in a sponsorship, hit me up,

Congrats Guys! If we were going to be in LA we'd definitely be in. Good Luck With it!
