      IMO it's great but I do think some "white" people don't like it cuz they can't have "White History Month" I think .

              i think its become an advertising scheme and really stupid to designate a whole month to a race.

                          I was reading about Morgan Freeman the other day. He doesn't celebrate Black History Month and thinks it only fuels racism. He thinks the best way to eliminate racism is to stop using it as a crutch.

                              That's like me getting my family together to create a Puerto Rican history month... I think it's fucking stupid! Great way to combat segregation by creating your own serperate month from other races you fuck head!

                                                          I would agree. I do think it's great to celebrate diversity, though, I just don't think that Hallmark holidays and such are the way to do it.

                                                          While we're at it, can we eliminate some stupid banking and federal holidays like Columbus Day and Presidents day?

                                                                      They "forgot" that the whole point of the civil rights movement was equality, integration, and e pluribus unum.

                                                                      Now it is all about how much they can take with entitlement programs, and how much they can blame whites for all of their own problems without assuming any responsibility. It's now all about special rights, not equal rights. It's about this heavy guilt trip they can lay on whites.

                                                                      All critics are automatically called "racists."

                                                                      It's very depressing.

                                                                                          Every culture have at some point in the past 400 years gone thru a period of slavery, domination, extreme violence etc. But life goes on..and the "DNA" of the perpetrator cannot be punished for what happened.
                                                                                          USA is a mix of many different ethnic groups and "colors" and i think black history is an important part of US history and should be taught in schools, but no need for a black history month.. less we also have a yellow and a red and white etc history month...
                                                                                          And the blacks of today are so watered down, i mean, they could have like 10% black DNA in them and are considered blacks..wtf ? stop using color as an excuse.

The thing I hate about the NAACP is that if a white people wanted to have a similar group, they would yell racism. I guess it is ok for them to have one, but no one else can or else you are a racist.                                                                                                       He's right...I think it's important to understand, learn, and make sure history doesn't repeat itself, but you also have to be mindful of what's going on now.

                                                                                                              Funny you mention The Electric Company. He docks that as a mistake. Not doing the show itself, but for staying too long. Many actors take on roles and suddenly get stuck with that character for life.
