Pretty much what everyone's said here.
The NetBooks are a smaller, and semi-usable product, but are in no way comparable to their big brothers. Sure, if you try really hard, or only need specific tasks, they do great.
The truth is that the NetBook is being taken over by SmartPhones and custom applications. Shit, my crappy LG phone has a TV applet, XM radio streamer, and after sticking a microsd card in it, an encrypted copy of my sources that I can bluetooth over to anywhere I may need it. Oh, and about a gig of my music.
Netbooks are a great concept, but they're just not as useful anymore.
I bought an eeePC awhile ago, and after getting it all setup, found I used it to browse YouTube during commercials so I had something to do.. even though I have a DVR. I ended up selling it to a friend at about 40% of cost just so it'd have a purpose.
