I'm reading a book about the origins of Feng Shui and how to apply this ancient Chinese "art" to your life, and it's actually quite interesting.
For those of us who believe in positive energy and the power of your good vibes, some of the things the Feng Shui says, make a lot of sense
(although there's a lot of silly things tangled up with the logical stuff).
anyway, for those of you who believe in Feng Shui, here are a few pointers taken from this cool book:
- Never place a mirror in front of your front door because it reflects the chi (positive energy). Instead, place it on a wall to one side of the front door.
- In a house where the front door is directly in front of the back door, place a folding screen (biombo) in between the two so the good energy doesn't go straight out.
- Add live green plants to your decor. Plants deflect stress and help create a more relaxed atmosphere in any house.
- Work on something you love and make tons of money at it, and you'll have better chi.
OK, that last one is not in the book, but it's common sense
