Update: Webmaster checks NOT OK to deposit now

someone icq'd me this:

Earlier today we were notified by the Department of Justice that although we are free to resume business, they would like a full accounting of our clients funds in their respective bank accounts before they are comfortable releasing the funds. Our counsel is working with the government in this process of reviewing the funds in order to obtain their release.

We apologize for any confusion yesterday's release may have caused, and again thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this matter fully.

I cannot imagine how those affiliates feel about this. If it was me on the one hand I would be extremely pissed off but on the other I feel really bad for WMC. The damned government are practically holding them hostage. It's like they are going to freeze the funds until just after it forces wmc out of biz. I hope that does not happen

I'm pissed at sponsors who use WMC but won't even reply to e-mail's regarding the issue! Yea prettyincash.. I'm looking at you! Sent out like 5 e-mails to 3 different e-mail addresses and not a single reply.. its only $148 so its not a big deal but WTF? Its my money.

You cant blame the affiliates when they are told they can deposit/cash the checks and then 4 hours they are told not to.
