problem is there are so many people in this industry that are totally unprofessional.

I dont see any of my clients on here anymore...or any of the people i have ever used for design or other services. I would expect that she will soon move into a place where she will be to busy for this crowd....which is good!

Zuzana is one of the few designers we refer people to for CMS skins and integrations and one of a small few who I referred my own clients to when I closed my design company in 2008. Always nice to see threads like this and happy customers among all the ripoff horror stories. Keep up the great work Sarah

Thanks for the input. For mainstream, I use this pretty badass dev guy and his designer. They've done a lot of big Pepsi/Coca Cola/-insertotherbigcorporateentityhere- work. Very top notch guys... and their price tag reflects that.

With that said, it's almost retarded for me to NOT hit up the adult guys who'll do a banner for $15 as opposed to their $100 with only a very minimal "decrease in quality".

Again, with that said.. if what you say is true.. I need to re-consider who I use for design.

I stay very organized to make sure everything goes smooth riggo. I have a forum to manage all my clients and I find it to be the most successful way to keep quotes, projects and changes all in one central location. It?s composed of hundreds of private forums for my clients. Once you sign up, I will set you up your own private forum that only you and I can view. This is where I leave links for design previews so they don't get lost in emails or icq's. You are also notified by email whenever I leave a post so you know there is activity. I add all final psds, fonts and zips there in case you need to access them in the future as well. This system has been great for staying organized.

Bman I run a mainstream design company as well. I do as many projects in mainstream as I do in adult. So many of my mainstream clients came from adult as well. I'm lucky to have so many awesome clients that keep me busy. Maybe one day it will be invite only, but that will be several years down the road. For now as many clients as I get I will continue to rock out great customer service and even better designs. It?s 3 times as much work to land a new client than to keep an existing one happy and coming back for more design projects. That?s why I try very hard to keep all my clients new and existing happy all the time.
