Search engine traffic is the best. But good trades will help too. I would say 10k a day with some search engine hits and from traffic trades is about $400 month. But it totally depends on what you offer your visitors and where they came from.
If you get mainly French visitors and you use UK/USA affiliate programs you will sell nothing.Comment

I just started too -- my blog has been up for about a month. It's not easy. I tried purchasing traffic (didn't do anything except bolster stats), and now what's really odd is that I get about 200 to 300 visits a day...but nobody clicks on any galleries. I don't think it's the site design, I make my own captions, which I try to sell with humor. Zero conversions.
I'm going to try focusing on one blog and when it starts to make money, then maybe make another one. I think this is the kind of game where you need to be willing to see defeat for a long time before seeing any success.

Are you high? $400/mo on a 10k/day blog? If you've got a 10k/day blog that's only doing 400/mo sell it to me for 800 so I can make that same traffic do 200/day.
