This one is Treyarch. They haven't made a CoD game that I liked yet. Like you said, now that Infinity Ward's two masterminds got canned by Activision who knows what kind of game they will release.I like pie.Comment

I don't think the Treyarch games are awful, but they definitely haven't stood up to the IW games.
Activision will continue to put out at least 1 CoD game each year. It won't matter if the games suck, so long as the suckers keep buying 'em.Comment

If they change anything between Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops in a direction other than first person shooter, people might get pissed. This new staff better stay the course and not try anything outrageous. I <3 the COD line.

well, i dislike overgrown as much as on MW1 but i did however like the other two i played that are new.
I didnt buy them my roommate did and I think he said it ran him 15-20 bucks... I also heard that they will be on discount in the near future... when or how much I dont know.

treyarch do great work. But IW took things to a whole new level with MW2, with awesome graphics and advanced gameplay.
I believe treyarch can do just as good, if not better than IW, but Im not sure Black ops will be the game that tops MW2. They need some more time to improve the whole concept. Maybe the game after Black ops. ;-)

Going from modern warfare to world at war was like getting kicked in the teeth. MW had great characters that made the story all the more enjoyable. At the end of world at war, when your captian or whoever that guy was dies, it was like you were supposed to feel terrible about it, but I didn't even know who the guy was, lol. I like my grand, epic first person shooter's to have likeable characters (captain price is the MAN). I can't remember anyone from World at War
Honestly, my biggest beef with world at war, aside from the fact that all the characters were made of cardboard and had similiar mentalities, was that they went back to ww2. WW2 first person shooters are like most porn niches, oversaturated as hell. I bet it would have been engaging if they hadn't gone back to "omg generic ww2 shooter".
