THE AVENGERS were supposed to be created to keep THE HULK in check, but since GWEN STACY was killed before PETER PARKER ever started dating MARY JANE in SPIDER MAN, I don't imagine the story lines are the same in anything.
Also, HULK needs to say HULK WILL SMASH a lot more in future movies LOL
I'm wondering in they are going to add GIANT MAN and WASP to AVENGERS or just the three movie guys CAPTAIN AMERICA, THOR and IRON MAN.
