                                          I had some of those 20 odd course meals in Amsterdam, the problem with them is, if they are not well organized it drags on for hours, far past the enjoyment aspect of the meal

                                                                  The problem wasnt as much as the food , which was quite good, but the spacing in between the courses was quite erratic. You would get bored and hungry between the selections. So when it came it would get wolfed down and then another long wait

I bet you most of the places on this list will give you very small portions with a nice presentation. Being Italian I like to eat large portions...so when I go out to eat I expect to be given enough food to fill me up. When someone recommends a place to me the 1st thing I ask them is how big are the portions.
