                                                                  I often wonder why people sell spots on sites that are doing so well. Could someone explain that to me? If the site is getting a ton of hits, wouldnt you want to keep those spots to yourself?

                                                                      for me it is to generate extra revenue on top of what sponsors are making. Its different per site and all site that sell ads sell for different reasons.

                                                                          all i am wondering is why a plug only sends 1-2k when the site is pulling 30-50k?

                                                                                      beacuse not all 30-50k is homepage traffic where the plugs are however the stats were stated for the sitewide banner ads purchaser where that ads appear accross the board.

                                                                                      also i will be retesting my plugs as im sure the traffic is higher now for plugs. that was a few months ago
