All joking aside consider this. When one of us is investigated by the government, we all get scrutinized. New laws are often passed to protect the whole when its just one company that caused the need for that law in the first place. When someone hits above the radar, we all go a bit higher in the radar. What effects one of us more often then not, makes life difficult for many others.
