Secondly, at least for Mac users if you know what you want to do and you know the Mac OS and software available it's a good choice for certain professions and tasks...

Someone I know just dropped $4k on a Mac.. their plans? Mostly to play WoW.

Course, they were previously an Alienware user.. So I think they just like overpaying for things.

When I was in the computer distribution & retailing business, I'd get questions like "Will that printer work with my computer though? It's a DELL you know..."

They always seemed to say it with such concern and pride of their piece of crap DELL, that a Canon printer might BEFOUL their damned computer.

nothing wrong with honest work, if you want to be the top salesman its very simple assume they know nothing and teach them,also use the most simple terms possible. Most computer salesman tend to be arrogant assholes.Was watching once this old lady trying to buy a computer she was asking questions and the guy was rolling his eyes.The lady walked out .
