are all phones the same generation and/or updated OS?
used to be you had to embed the mp4's to get them to play via the browser. then via upgrades (i believe OS upgrade but might be generation upgrade) you didn't need to use the embed method.
pretty sure the embed method works for old & new so i use embeds. i haven't done any thorough testing
