Some mistakes are not silly, they are just damn repulsive. To make such a mistake, someone must really have a problem.

depending on how it was misspelled, the spell checker could of easily concluded the attempted word was people.

then once it's spelled properly, it would not get noticed.

The best part about this is the head honcho guy is like, "whatever, it's a mistake, no biggie", whereas other companies would be doing press released and conferences and personally blowing black people just to look like a forward thinking, progressive group of corporate shitheads.

The corp that says "lol oops, no biggie tho, it's cool" is so much better than the forced and hilariously awkward corporate diversity scheme most companies run around showing off these days.
