    Where's the recycle bin in Windows 7?

    I give up, I've been looking for the last 10 minutes. Can anybody tell me where to find the wretched thing?

      right mouse click on empty area on your desktop, select personalize, from there in the left column window you can get to change your desktop icons

        nope, that didn't do it ... I have windows 7 Starter edition in my new Dell mini, and those options are not available.

              well maybe starter ed. doesn't supposed to have any desktop icons. check its features list
              honestly, first time i'm hearing of win7 starter edition, but i don't know netbook market and their OS'es.
              it is supports icons there to workaround i would create a shortcut to recycle bin from windows explorer

                for other natural blondes like me, here it is:

                Click the Start button , type desktop icons into the search box, and then click Show or hide common icons on the desktop.

                In the Desktop Icon Settings dialog box, do one of the following:

                To hide the Recycle Bin, clear the Recycle Bin check box.

                To show the Recycle Bin, select the Recycle Bin check box.
