So what are the specs of the box and what are you running on it? Also how mu BW is it pushing?

I was having trouble yesterday with my box, had them reboot Apache and servers run better than it has in awhile

not going to much into details, the normal load is around 1-2... when people don't care I start to wonder if they appreciate my biz/money or not..

You running WordPress on any of the sites on it? Could be a problem. If you don't, then I suggest you switch hosts. I understand you've been there a long time, but they don't seem to be loyal in offering you good service, so why should you be loyal in keeping paying them for lack of it?

no wordpress.. its html and movies all the way.. talking to a few hosts atm (heck, everyone is trying to contact me right now)..

If you're running cpanel on there I can give you some pointers on how to get it to use less resources. It can sometimes be a real hog.
