Cartoons for adult content, its a good business?

Hi guys at last I have 30 posts

I would like to know your opinion... We are a traditional graphic design studio but we are starting to do some adult related graphics.

You think this artwork is good for adult business?

What do you think about the price? For cartoon and logos its around 200-300US$. Its ok? Cheap? Expensive?

Its Photoshop for bitmaps and Illustrator for vectors. We mainly do bitmaps but we can do both, here is some vector examples:

Well.... the artwork is definately good enough. I personally have no issues with your prices, but if you want to get a steady supply of orders you need to lower it a lot, there's a ton of outsourcing guys and other misc cartoonists around which people seem to appreciate, and their prices are way below yours.

..and I'm off.

Sosfactory, I saw you post in a thread the other day. I hadnt heard of you before but I bookmarked your site as it majorly impressed me and in the future I will hit you up for some work I am sure.

I just hope you dont go flaky like a lot of good designers do as it seems to come with the territory.

We are around 3 years in the business and until now any refund yet (crossed fingers)

We are a small team and we love what we do, its because we dont need a lot of orders. We keep in mind our limitations, if we can meet a deadline we dont accept the work.

Its depends on the budget and specially on the feedback of the client since we offer unlimited revisions. More revisions... more time. Our record is 4 hours.

your stuff looks great - i love the EatMyShorts one. there should be a market for your work in adult - but who knows, adult webmasters are very cheap - including me.

I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

You're asking the questions over and over but dude ... you have your prices. Stick to them. The right people will pay. Stop asking what people will pay, because I hate to say it, but you WILL get people telling you to do your toons for $50 ... and your work is worth WAY more than that. I dont' see a problem with your prices.

I think your price is good because of very high quality.

You may miss some work because someone wants a cheap price but you will probably get more exposure with the bigger clients that demand the best quality and earn more in the long run.

Plus charging cheap prices can make you get frustrated and that can make your work come out with less quality!! You don't want that to happen.

Thanks men . I dont intend to work cheaper (maybe more expensive :P), like I said some post before we are a small team, we dont need lot of orders. So better 5 orders at 250US$ than 10 at 125US$. Im just trying to know the niche.

i paid $150 for this one and I love the style - unfortunately the chick who ran the company is a flake and wouldn't give me the name of the artist who did it.
