    WTF Happened to Youtube over the weekend?

    I come back from a drunken weekend and suddenly half the music vids in my favourites are unavailable. Ghey.

                                                      Yeah but it seems likely that youtube will start placing short pre-roll ads, post-roll ads, etc on certain (i.e. director vids) videos shortly (they announced they will start profit sharing with everyone shortly and made brief mention of 3 second pre-roll ads, etc). With Google's ability to monetize ads I am sure they will reward the big networks handsomely for either allowing or posting content on the website. Still, considering how big networks like Viacom, etc are they may still tell them to fuck off out of fear of change, but I am sure it will increase the quality of legit vids on there.
