The assertion that pornstars are incapable of acting is patently false... and degrading to the talent working in this industry. If you think Jodi Foster getting fucked on a pinball machine in The Accused as part of a rape scene is somehow ok (yes, she won an oscar for her role in it) ... im not sure how you can characterize the difference when a pornstar acts as if she is in a rough scene.

Again... if someone is forced to do *anything* without consent there are serious criminal charges available to prosecutors ranging from rape to sexual assault, hate crimes and all matter of other serious allegations that need to be PROVED in court. In this case, nobody tried Max Hardcore for any of those crimes. Nobody proved anything was done non-consensually. Nobody proved any crime of any kind was committed against any performer in any shoot he had ever done.

Instead, they argued the art he made was in poor taste and convicted him on obscenity charges. For breaking a rule that is not written or known to anyone in advance. Is anal sex obscene? How about ATM? What if the couple is interracial? How about lesbianism or Gay sex? Until obscenity law is fixed you are paying attention to the way a broken standard was used to convict a man who was not alleged to have broken ANY other laws... and THAT is a huge problem.

I don't know max. I don't much care about Max one way or the other. What I do care about... and what YOU should care about... is the erosion of YOUR rights and the prosecution of people in a manner that is not consistent with the Constitutional protections guaranteed to every American citizen. Convict him or don't... but if you do, actually prove he broke a written law.
