Good riddance seems to be what everyone who knew him seems to think as well.

"Keith Kimmel was not the victim of a hate crime. He committed hate crimes. There is no record of him being gay before he appeared in Oklahoma. In fact before he showed up here he was running straight hardcore bondage websites. He suddenly became gay once he got to Oklahoma and then immediately began harrassing GLBT's around here while looking for gay issues he could use to file lawsuits. Learn about his life and his deeds against other GLBT's and you might just come to an understanding as to why so many people aren't buying his gay bashing complaint. They know him. They know how he does things and how he saw an opportunity to exploit his being a bully and turned his attack on a gay man in a club into his being the convenient victim of a gay bashing. This isn't about the GLBT Community not taking up for one of their own. This is about it breathing a sigh of relief that the one single person, who brought the most direct hate against it in recent times, is now gone. Has anyone yet seen the pattern that the people who knew him are happy he's finally gone, while those of you who did not know him in any manner are questioning why we aren't upset? There is no single person that ever raised such a negative feeling than Keith Kimmel. You have no idea how truly horrible he was as a person."
Yikes! that's a bad way to be remembered.
