                                                                          Southland and Life were two great shows. I'm glad they gave Chuck a second chance. Heroes is absolute garbage.

                                                                          Even it they picked 24 up for 2 more seasons, it'll give them a leg up on what they have now...which is pretty much garbage. I notice they're playing shows now like Trauma and Mercy, which were both cancelled just a few episodes in.

                                                                              Re: OP, I watched like one episode of 24 this season and found it eyeball-rollingly unwatchable and I thought the first season was pure genius. Maybe 24's glory days are just kinda done.

                                                                                      As much as I hate to see '24' go, there is always the same plot, the same issues over and over again, eight seasons of '24' and there is always a mole in the CTU, the CTU always gets blown up and is out of commission, there is always some dork screwing with the network, but you never see Jack eating, or draining the dragon after drinking way too many 64oz Big Gulps.

                                                                                                          sucks to see the show go cause it is my fav show I ALWAYS watch but I actually wasn't that surprised today. Southland said before the beginning of this season that this would be his last year starring in it and then he would stay on behind the scenes. I think they realized that the show would never be as good without jack so they are pulling the plug before letting it sink next year.
