Pretty diffucult thing to do, especially when you consider they played all of the teams in the weakest division in the league twice - there is 6 games right there - and to top that off, they lose to one of those teams.

Take a look at the teams (with their records) the Bears beat

Green Bay 8-8
Detroit 3-13 (twice)
Minn 6-10 (twice)
Seattle 9-7 (****hey a winning record)
Buffalo 7-9
Arizona 5-11 (almost lost that one)
San Fran 7-9
NY Giants 8-8
Jets 10-6 (****hey another winning record)
St Louis 8-8
Tampa Bay 4-12

That's right - they beat 2 teams with winning records - awesome.

Now take a look at the Colts

NY Giants 8-8
Houston 6-10
Jax 8-8
Jets 10-6 (****1)
Tenn 8-8
Wash 5-11
Den 9-7 (****2)
NE 12-4 (****3)
Buffalo 7-9
Philli 10-6 (****4)
Cinci 8-8
Miami 6-10

Four wins against teams with winning records vs. the Bears with 2. And as great as a 13-3 record is, the Colts only lost 1 more game with a 12-4 record.

One final comparision, teams that both played this years:

(1) NY Jets: Bears 10-0 (at NY), Colts 31-28 (at NY)

(2) Miami: Bears lose (at home) 13-31, Colts (at home) 27-22

(3) NY Giants: Bears (at NY) 38-20, Colts (at NY) 26-21

(5) Buffalo: Bears (at home) 40-7, Colts (at home) 17-16

(6) New England: Bears lose (at home) 13-17, Colts (at NE) 27-20 and (at home in title game) 38-34
