Yes, its legal here. If it weren't I would not own a bike.
That is why we ride bikes out here, to avoid the traffic usually.
I've gone on rides from here to AZ, and it's crazy because you are not in traffic and can't split lanes. What a tease.
As you can see in the video, people cross the double lines all the time, good thing I have A.D.D, I try and predict what everyone is going to do as I approach them.
I would never ride on the shoulder, that is crazy.
