Can anyone think of a way around signing a 9 month lease to live in an apartment. I ask this question, because the three roomates I am potentially going to live with are questionable.....any advise, anyone. Please dont recommend saying "simply dont live with anyone." Is there any legal way around this? Any kind of document or paper work I can present. Thanks

find a different place that wont make you sign a lease. and really leases aren't that effective anyway you could still walk or come up with some bs excuseTop virtual hosts for under 10$? www.hostmylife.com | icq 50663030Comment

Leases are required to avoid situations like the one you're in. Shop around, you may be able to find a 6 month lease. Or if you're in a bad rental market you can probably get away with being more demanding.Vacares - Web Hosting, Domains, O365, Security & More - Paxum and BTC Accepted

Most lease places do offer a month to month, but they charge a PREMIUM for it. I know places in Orange County, for example, the Irvine Company doesn't make it known, but they charge $500 a month for month to month. Otherwise, I'd rethink who you want to live with....Comment
