Whatever the cost, you're not paying for the air, and they aren't making 100% profit on said air.
What you are paying for is the can itself, and the cost of the process to get the air inside the can.

It's not air inside of those cans, anyway. It's a compressed fluorocarbon. (Fluorine in a covalent bond with carbon).
As far as huffing goes, there are usually bitterants in the can (if you spray a lot in a small room you can taste the bitterant on the back of your tongue).
Pretty neat stuff...I used to sell a whole lot of them.

Those things plug into your vehicle's cig lighter, but yes, there is a way to use it in the house I'm sure. You'd just need an adapter to plug it into, then plug the adapter into the wall socket. And with that attachment you mentioned you should be good to go.

I bought one of those small vacuum machines that does a good job of blowing dirt out too. It was $70 from tigerdirect. It's not as strong as the canned air, it doesnt blow as hard. But it does a great job when I need to dust out my computer every three months. Its called 'Datavac'Comment
