    Anyone else looking forward to The Pacific on HBO Sunday?

    Being a huge fan of the Band of Brothers mini series I am really looking forward to seeing The Pacific when it airs on HBO Sunday night.

    I've watched a few of the trailers - http://www.hbo.com/the-pacific and it looks like it's going to be really well done. I actually ordered HBO just for this, told directv i was thinking about switching and they gave it to me for $4.99 a month.

                              I'm looking forward to it, but not expecting much since HBO's shitty writing is rather prolific lately, even fucking up the latest season of BIG LOVE. I hope this is good though.

                                                                          Yeah but it's the last time America kicked ass and really won a war. So we have to revel in it. I honestly doubt we could muster that kind of a fighting force these days. We have become a nation of Blackberry checking, iPhone talking, porn watching wimps.
