If you were staying the night it wouldn't be you. It would be your socks. Why you ask? Because your socks mean more to me than you and your gay ass posts.

me too..... unless i happen to have a pet at that time
“If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.”
So hubby would grab externals
I would grab my purse
Oldest daughter would grab my jewelery box
Son would grab the small cabinet with photo albums that I keep by the front door
And my youngest would just need to grab my hand
I would have to include my pets as "one object". My wallet and car keys are usually in the car and the cash is in a fireproof box. Losing the laptop and my rolodex which holds EVERYTHING would be tough, but the pets are more important
Most, if not all, pictures I have are duplicated somewhere else. Lots of things I'd lose forever - my son's coffin flag, his medals and coins, some artwork, and I'm a big keeper of "keepsakes". I'm in such a remote area I'm sure the main goal would be to keep the fire from spreading instead of saving the house.
I live in a log house - now you have me paranoid!!
When I was just a kid, that really did happen to me. My entire house burned down and I had to run through the fire to escape. All you think about is your family and pets. Everything else can be replaced...
