    How do you remove something from your credit?

    i have several houses and one of the electricity bills was going to the wrong house, so my credit report now shows an unpaid bill for 3 months and dropped my score 60 points. is there a way to get it removed or do i have to just wait it out?

      Get documentation of the mistake and send it to all 3 credit reporting "crooks",
      Registered Mail, (so someone has to sign for it).
      Go online and file a dispute, it is very easy and will walk you through it.
      They have 30 days to contact you about the dispute.
      Follow those up with phone calls, with all of your eveidence.

      When you do all of those things, they will get around to it....whenever the hell they feel like it.
      Or just pay someone.
      Just follow up and wait it out, if you need to apply for credit, take all your documentation with you, but it wont matter until it is corrected.

          write a letter of dispute to each of the bureu's that reported ie TRW Tranunion and equifax the number will be located on your credit report.

                          Nah, just about anything can be taken off your credit report if its even the slightest bit disputable.
