Wiseman - who did you do the deal with? Original Sex.com (GrantMedia which now works via Sex.net)
The ones who bought it off them? (I think they took over May 2006)
Or the ones running it now? (I think they took over October or November 1st 2006)
Either way, I'm sending them this thread

Wiseman, sorry to hear that you are owed some money. If this traffic was purchased in August, it was before we at Playboy began managing the site (no, we do not own it!). I sent you an email a few hours ago, but have yet to get a response. I would be more than happy to help you find out what exactly happened and how/if we can help reconcile it.
Edgeprod, if you feel you are entitled to money as well, let me know how to get in touch with you and we'll see what we can do.
Sorry for the delay in response, but I just saw the thread this morning. Thanks for bumping!Comment

It's my feeling that the old owners are responsible for this money, and no one else. I don't want to make it into a drama-thing, but I've been waiting for a while now, with employee turnover dating back to Mike Ulliman (sheesh).Comment

Care to spout off about something else you don't understand? They had a program running that I'm sure they wouldn't want advertisers to know about ... they paid out on time for a LONG time, then suddenly stopped without notice.Comment

If you delt with sex.com after Jan 2006 then contat me at jay @ objectcube.com and I wil put you in touch with the correct person. I was their from Jan to Nov and as far I know we never delt with you.
If it was before Jan 2006 then contact the old owners, grant media and sort it out the issue with them.

It was Grant Media, Gary specifically. I'm not asking you to get involved, so there isn't much reason for you to worry about it.If you delt with sex.com after Jan 2006 then contat me at jay @ objectcube.com and I wil put you in touch with the correct person. They used to buy traffic from me. One day, even though they still accepted the traffic, they stopped cutting checks for it. They didn't provide any notice, and because there was a 2-3 month lag in payments, it went on for quite some time before I caught them. When I bitched about it, people kept leaving the company before it was resolved -- first Mike Ulliman, then Ben or something like that, then another woman I can't remember. This is all ancient history, and I doubt they'll ever pay.
I know you think you're a "player" in this area, but trust me -- you can't be of any help on this. Sorry.Comment

I am not a player or trying to be. I was involved with sex.com last year and still know all the people who own it, run it etc.
I just want to sort out any issues any one have or had with sex.com after Jan 2006 because the domain is now owned by reputable people and run by reputable company these days.
