OK.. There are two sides to the video - one is where there is reasonable "prudence" in not getting pinned down in traffic for safety reasons and prob endangering all traffic/people around em.
The flipside, and penalty of this conduct, is the perception of normal Iraqi people - ie a load of clueless idiot rednecks with an arrogance only the ignorant can possess, whether that is true or false in reality.
Since around 80% of the Iraqi population want the US out of Iraq primarily on the basis that US troops attract violence - it's overdue time they got the hell out since they have failed in almost all aspects, even before any "insurgency".
PS It may also curb the overload of biz for panel-beating in Iraq repair shops

Imagine you're going to work - you have a low paying job - you're in BIG debt, you havnt made your insurance premium - and some asshole american comes up behind you without warning and HAMMERS your car - doing $1000+ of damage you don't have. These are the SAME people telling you that you HAVE to accept their government and rules.
Honestly if someone did that to me I'd be pissed and I'd be willing to bet EVERYONE who defended those americans would be SUPER PISSED off as well.
I'd bet the american military is ashamed of that video. It doesn't help their case for putting more troops in iraq when they act like that.

I think you're looking at this from the perspective of someone outside of Iraq, as most of us are. Do you think that Iraqi's first thought is, "Oh, shit, I have to fix my fender?" You'd have to understand how OTHER Iraqis drive and interact with each other before you can judge how the U.S. drives in that area. 1. Americans were not welcome in Iraq. Talking official UN language - US soldiers ARE INVADERS. Likewise the overwhelming majority of Iraqi people wants them out of the country.
2. US soldiers are mercenaries. Nobody forced them to become a soldier, and they are paid to RISK THEIR LIFE everyday.

Sorry but I think by now the Iraqi's should have enough of a clue that they need to stay clear of US vehicles. While I don't agree with the reason our troops are there I still support the troops.
Iraq isn't New York, there are guys that are trying to kill the troops. Sitting in a traffic with people around you that want to kill you. Well doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that you have to keep moving or you have signed your own death warrant.
The Iraqi's should damn well know the drill by this point in date and should treat any US convoys or vehicles like you would treat an ambulance. Which means get the fuck out of the way.
