Hi, the Trafficrouter.com traffic trading and delivery system is available for sale on negotiable terms. It's fully developed and has been working sucessfully and reliably for over two years now, I just haven't got the time or means to promote it.
It was originally designed as part of a patent protected sysem for the trading of traffic as a securitized commodity. However, after a successful start, it was found that patent protection was not viable. The project then lost the momentum to take it forward.
At present, the system is complete and fully working and there are over 500 webmaster accounts. However, most are now inactive due to the lack of support and promotion. It's ideally suited to a someone with a supply of traffic that they wish to sell but don't want to develop their own software. This could be a tgp farm, a paysite with exit traffic or a traffic brokerage.
It has been running continually and without failure for two years now. It comprises three parts:
1) A traffic delivery server written in C
2) A PHP/Myslq front end
3) A Perl management script
The traffic delivery server is the main selling pont of this system. It's customed desiged C source code developed from an open source project and acts as an event driven http header forwarder. Other traffic delivery systems we've come accross are based on pre-forking web servers like Apache. Under high loads Apache eats system resources and slows down, our system leaves Apache for dust. It should be scaleable as well.
The PHP/Mysql front end allows users to manage their traffic sales and purchases in a efficent manner. The traffic buying system is based on a dynamic auction allowing a highest bidder to get traffic delivered within seconds of placing a bid. This auction system ensures both buyer and seller get a fair price. Our regular users love the system, I've had some great feedback on it. Apart from a few trivial bugs, it only really needs a new skin. The present design and layout is pretty spartan and not to everyone's taste.
The Perl management script is used to manage traffic deliverys. It responds to new traffic sales in seconds and make the system very responsive.
