You might want to check your filters, dude, because she most certainly sent you one. She showed it to me last night after this thread popped up. It told you she wasn't interested in selling. It was, ah, quite clear.

I called you a fool because you are criticizing something you fundamentally don't understand. You think you could do it better, but you don't have the first idea why what she's doing has worked so well -- mostly having to do with the hundreds and thousands of hobby hours she's invested into serving a subset of the spanking community you apparently don't even think exists, putting a great deal of personal effort into creating a community you want to shit on by eliminating the rules that make it unique and popular.

Because you're bitching about the flavor of the free beer. What part of "the site is 100% free" don't you understand? If people didn't like it, would she really have six thousand active members? Ask some of the guys here who actually know the online dating business, how hard it is to build a dating site with six thousand active members (much less, six thousand of them in the same fetish niche) up from nothing. It's a huge accomplishment.

Yeah, she likes to moderate the profiles pretty tightly, weeding out explicit pictures and people who want to roleplay spanking little kids. It's her freakin' hobby, those things don't make her happy, why shouldn't she set the rules the way she wants them? It's a free site and six thousand active members seem to enjoy the way she's got it set up. If you don't like it, there's always alt.com, or you could start your own site using the same free software she's using. Come back and post when you've got six thousand active members, all of 'em waving their dicks proudly in their profile pics and wondering why they can't find a woman to spank.

The world is full of people who look at something and say "I could do it better" ... but instead of doing it better, they sit on their asses and bitch. You're just the latest in a long line of people to come along and tell her she's doing it wrong. However, you are the first one I know of to speculate in public about buying the site, after being told in private it wasn't for sale. Yeah, that earns you a little bit of public derision, in the best traditions of the "Go Fuck Yourself" forum.

Cause? We're talking about helping people find bottoms to spank here ... it's fun and it's useful and it's appreciated by the spanko community, but it's not fucking Abolition.

Again, not my site. And I don't even know all the rules over there, so I don't know what "freedom" you think is so vital, that people don't get for their zero dollars when they sign up. The rules I hear about -- because my girl gets to ranting about people being too dumb to understand them or too arrogant to think they have to comply with them -- are the rules against explicit profile pics (which men mostly want, and most women on the site hate to see, guess which members are more vital to the long term success of the site?), the rules against advertising for age play (which is a purely editorial choice of the site's proprietor, she'd rather not be running a site where people advertise for "grown up little girls to spank" and can you blame her?), and the rules against showing pics of other people in your profile (which is just stupid, but people do it).

It doesn't really matter if that's "the right way" for her to run her site. It's her way, and it's working, and anybody else could do it another way with the same free software she's using, or by paying a ton of money for better faster software, if they happened to want to throw that money down a freesite rathole. Me personally, I think it's lame and sad and weird to criticize a service somebody provides for free.
