It is always the lawyers shouting fire. It is bullshit. Does the guy who rents DVDs down the street have model Docs for all the DVDs and tapes he rents or sells? NO.

So there you go. Lawyers once again, getting everyone scared, jumping through hoops, telling webmasters that they are the ones who need to be custodian of record. Do you really know what the responsibities of custodian of records is? Who can legally be the custodian of records? Ask your lawyer that and he will probably go DUH?

Lawyers once again crying wolf so that they can justify their existence. I have all the docs in order and ready to go. But I am not giving them out wholesale like that. Webmasters do not have ownership rights to this content. They only have distribution rights. They are not the custodians of records, the producer is. And those docs are all that separates me from the guy or gal that buys this content.

I once had some clown put all my content in a plug in feed and he was trying to sell it to webmasters which is not allowed in any of my licenses. When I told them they did not have the rights to do this and they did not have proof that these models were of age they quickly shut down. IF they had the docs they would probably have told me to Go fuck myself.

I will tell you all the same thing I tell 100 percent of my customers. If you see any girls that look young please ask me for the docs for that set. I would be more than happy to send you those.

Like I told you on ICQ, when I want advice about the law I'll talk to my lawyer not you! I came to you wanting to buy some content. I asked you if I could get copies of the docs and you said that I could. Then after I placed the order you refused to send me the docs. When I pushed the issue you said that you were going to charge me $10 a set extra. That's fucking pathetic!

I took my Macdonalds shit about 6 hours ago. The Big Mac floated, the fries and cheeseburger sunk like lead. I had to flush twice to clean out the toilet bowl. It wasn't a pretty scence, but I did enjoy the scents of the different food groups as they dropped out of my ass. Big Macs definitely have the best scent.

docs don't include model releases, they just contain the location and name of the custodian of records and the custodian's avowal that he/they have model releases on file and they attest the model is of age.

You're supposed to get that with EVERY content order.

I have the usage licenses which webmasters sign, get to me and I sign them too. This proves they even have the right to distribute. And I will even give the docs to any models that look "questionalbe". But I feel very uncomfortable giving away all docs just like that. I do not think that this will serve my copywrite on these products very well. And I understand what a custodian of records is and the webmaster by definition does not fit that mold. I know for a fact, that if I give out all the docs, it is just a matter of time till I get someone selling the content in one way or another and saying, "HEY you want to buy this stuff cheap? Yea, I even have proof that the models are over 18" It has already happened to me once. I am not going to let it happen again.

Maybe you guys need to have a meeting so that you can all get together on whether he is or isn't.

Personally like I said I spoke with him on ICQ about the model releases and I know that legally I don't have to have them as long as he does, however I understand some webmasters would like to see them for verification and just to feel reassured. I personally didn't pay more for the docs when I bought from him and I don't have them.

I would've thought the decision was easy?
