The only source of revenue generated by Craigslist is the Job ads. And if I'm not mistaken, they only charge job ad fees in the major cities. Last time I read about it, the site makes around 20 million a year from those ads alone. I think it's only a matter of time before it goes downhill and sells out because Craig's partner in the site got mad at him a few years back and sold his 25% of the company to Ebay. -

I knew the site was worth millions; I think they had a recent offer of 60-80 million and turned it down. I only surfed the site for about 5 minutes and didn't even look in the jobs section. Everything else seemed to be for free;
which gave me the impression that they were doing the youtube thing and waiting for a serious buy out.Done.Comment
