I kinda posted it in a wrong "department".. but I just got pulled over 3 blocks away from my house on empty 4 way stop sign for "not complete stop"... Fat ass was hiding in somebodys driveway.. $180 ticket.. Son of a fucking bitch !!!! and I swear to god, any time I see cop behind me I shit my pants. I don't deal drugs or do any illegal stuff but god damn I shake and shiver every time I see them in my rear view mirror...
Do you crap your pants when you see cops?

Yes, I have a phobia of cops even though I don't do anything illegal. I don't drink, smoke pot, or have anything bad in my car, but cops still make me really scared. My heart always beats really fast when there's one behind me and I start shaking a bit. I probably look suspicious cause I'm so worked up even though I didn't do anything. I don't know why but it's a psychological thing.
Cops really freak me out!!
One time a cop was mean to me, I got a ticket (this was around 5 years ago) and when I signed the paper she said "This is an INTERESTING" signature." She said it in a real mean bitchy uptight way. I still don't know what she meant by that! I can sign my signature any way I want. It's my real signature so no need to comment on it! Her job is to give tickets, not make comments on my signature. It was so unprofessional. I'm scared of cops!
Another time i was in the car when my friend got pulled over... She was looking for her registration but couldnt find it for a while cause the car was messy. The cop said " maybe u would find it if u cleared all the shit out of there" wtf? it's not against the law to have a messy car as long as its not so bad that its a danger.. like wtf. i hate it when people comment on things that dont concern them.Last edited by bausch; 01-22-2007, 06:57 PM.Comment

That's the problem, people get more nervous knowing that if they appear to be nervous then the cops will be pricks!
Have watched a couple of the US series of 'cops' this week and it's laughable at what the idiot cops put people in jail for. One kid, obviously a college kid who smokes a few joints was tossed in jail for a night for 5grams and another for at best a 1/2 ounce.
The guy who had 1/2 an ounce said it was for personal use and the cop goes 'that is FAR too much marijuana for one person'
Who educates these dumb fucks?

Not sure if they're allowed to hide on private property. I'd check you local and state laws regarding that. I know there was a issues around here several years ago were they setup some speed traps that involved a couple cops hiding in a field with radar guns and would radio to another car.
I think most people got off because the field was private property and not county, city, or state owned264-543-302Comment

Me too. I've had enough legitimate run-ins with them that I get nervous as fuck if there's one pulled over doing radar or behind me or beside me on the interstate. I try to intentionally make eye contact though or at least look in their direction just to *pretend* like I'm not about to shit myself even though I no longer do the shit that got me in trouble in the past. ( drugs, drinking, etc )
It also doesn't help though that most are fucking cocksuckers with chips on their shoulders and something to prove. 90% of encounters I've had with po-po's they've always been complete dickwads.Comment

My heart used to skip a beat every time I saw a cop. I don't drink and drive - ever - and don't do any drugs whatsoever. One day it hit me like a rock... Why panic? Worst case I'll get a small ticket.
Generally speaking if you nice to the cops you'll get off. Unless you caught doing 120mph like my last ticket.Herschel Savage

People that get freaked out by cops have either not lost that 13 year old mentality that cops are bad and evil, or are guilty of something. And if you're guilty of something, you shouldn't have broken the law in the first place if you're just going to puss out at the sight of the police.

I'm confused. What's 'pussing out' mean? People are afraid to get caught when they're doing something illegal? And if you're guilty of something, you shouldn't have broken the law in the first place if you're just going to puss out at the sight of the police.Comment

I don't have any problems with cops but I don't break any laws either .... fear attracts fear, so why be scared?Comment

want to see a cop get nervous? hand him your license with your concealed weapon permit underneath it.
Most cops are cool, if you know how to talk to them and can admit you made a mistake, I will knock on wood but I have only got 1 ticket out of my last 9 pull overs (6 of these were on the water, which you get pulled over for everything)Comment

The fact of the matter is, police have alot of discretionary powers and personally that really scares shit out of me.People that get freaked out by cops have either not lost that 13 year old mentality that cops are bad and evil, or are guilty of something. The sad part about it is that court here acquitted a cop three days ago of driving under influence after she refused test and sobriety test… was arrested and released to her PD on good behavior. Judge said there was not enough evidence despite the fact that arresting officer testified that she smelled like a whisky bottle. I’m so fucking pissed tonight…Comment

what the fuck are you scared of? i've done some pretty hairy shit concerning drugs and been pulled over. just go through the motions, answer the questions, and be polite. if you just see cops and get scared then you should probably seek mental help. unless you have been drinking of course then you might want to shit your pants.Comment

Yeah .. that's his fucking job ... if he was assigned to the ghetto he would be watching drug dealers but he's not. he's in my neighborhood and I want people in residential areas to come to a complete stop. I have kids that play in my area and I see assholes blowing through stop signs on the back streets all the time. If your kid got killed you'd be crying that the cops never stop anyone from speeding through your neighborhood . I live in a nice area and the cops get paid by me to keep it that way.
I'm not sure how old you are or if you have kids but I'm 31 and have 2 kids. I thought like you 10 years ago before i owned a home and had a family.Comment

Dont be an ignorant shithead.
the "PO-lice" also catches (at least some of) the child molesters, rapists, murderers, thieves, french, psychos and many more. And in general keeps the peace.
Im firmly against them trying to police anything drug-related, but that doesnt mean that im a little stupid idiot screaming "OMG I WISH THERE WAS NO LAWS OMG OMG!!! FUCK THEM POLIZES!!!". I like the fact that we have partial order and i enjoy many of the positive effects of having law enforcement.
Just because you disagree with some laws, doesnt mean that you have a valid reason for hating the people that ENFORCE those laws. Dont be a stupid moron. At least only be a moron.Comment

It just means you are in touch with reality.
The cops have adopted a strategy that it is better to be feared than respected. Tough on crime is the motto. So they present themselves as tough. Public announcements often are threats. TV ads to curb crime show handcuffs being slapped on wrist, jail doors slamming behind people as they enter cells with hard faced murderers, etc....
They want to scare people out of crime...they succeeded...you are scared.
That plus the possiblity that you might encounter a dirty cop.Done.Comment

I'm not a huge fan of the police. I've been pulled over for a few tickets and they have all been overly agressive to the point where one time an officer told me that he should cut up my liscense right there because he sees all kinds of kids breaking the traffic laws on a daily basis and went on a five minute rant about how we are all punks who don't respect the laws, etc. What I really don't like is when you see a police car in your rearview and you see the officer running your plates. What is up with that? I feel as though that is an invasion of privacy as you have given no cause for them to do so. With that logic they may as well go door to door looking into peoples homes and stopping people on the sidewalk too.Comment

Gets so nervous that you hand over your LEGAL PERMIT TO CARRY A FIREARM license?
In Florida, you are not required to disclose a concealed firearm unless asked.
If anything, most cops are thankful you disclose.
This pertains to Pipecrew, because he lives in Florida.
http://www.flsenate.gov/statutes/ind...790/ch0790.htm
The licensee must carry the license, together with valid identification, at all times in which the licensee is in actual possession of a concealed weapon or firearm and must display both the license and proper identification upon demand by a law enforcement officer. Violations of the provisions of this subsection shall constitute a noncriminal violation with a penalty of $25, payable to the clerk of the court.

How is it invasion of privacy when it's part of their job? If you look suspicious they will run your plates. It's their job.I'm not a huge fan of the police. What did you do that pissed off the cop? Looking at it from a 3rd party, I've seen idiot kids in their cars ( I was one and grew up), doing 30plus over the speed limit (In a 35zone), driving like they were at laManns.
